With any industry, you're paying for expertise and experience. While you could easily piece together your own website, my services come with experience and strategies that the average business owner likely does not have or think of simply because this is not their scope of practice. There are many things that go into a website aside from simply making it look nice. For instance, SEO (search engine optimization) gets built into every single website service I provide. Elements are strategically placed to catch the eye and functional use that guides website users to the services you want them to find quickly/easily. Many mistakes I see on self-made websites is the functionality and streamline to finding quick answers to questions as simple as: What services do you offer, clarity on what those services include, and how do I sign up? This is costing you clients! Not to mention, an investment in a website in this digital age is a no brainer. You explain to your clients all the time why your services are an investment they need: why not let your website do that for you by someone who knows how to execute just that?

The following are extra fees that are not provided with your services as these are things you will need to keep up to date. Several of these are monthly subscriptions that you will need to stream your website.

Domain name: This is a monthly subscription. I utilize GoDaddy for my own website and it is a very affordable option.

ShowIt Subscription: This is the platform that I use for designing and unless you have a blog, the basic package is all you will require.

Legal Pages, Special Typefaces, Special./specific elements requiring a web license, Vimeo (video streaming), Or any other subscription based services you want linked to your website (i.e. Kartra, Shopify, etc)

The length of time prior to launch day varies based on service types and any extra needs (typically payment plans). There are several things I will need prior to launch day and in order to make your website spectacular: from basic information to build your copy, pictures to utilize throughout, subscriptions set up, and payments complete. I do offer payment plans and that can create a slightly longer wait time till launch day.

Once we set the date however, the time of the project is as advertised per the service. Of course, if revisions are made that can stretch the time; however, those are on a needs basis. Typically, websites are done in a quick and timely manner! Time is money and frankly, I'm way too pumped to complete your website to keep you waiting!

SEO stands for search engine optimization. In basic terms, this is how search engines prioritize your website when someone is searching for services such as yours! This is HIGHLY important for organic traffic. This is something that a typical plug and go website does not offer you.

Legal pages help CYOA (cover your own ass) or in this case, your business and brand's ASSetts. These pages on your website protect you and your business from being fined, sued, or--even worse--shut down!

You will need: Policy Page and Terms & Conditions Page.

Policy: If you collect any personal info on your site, you are legally obligated to inform users how you are going to utilize their personal information. That includes when you gain info from lead generation. This page tells users how you are going to care for the personal info users are providing.

Terms & Conditions: This page outlines what your website does and even what it doesn't do. This protects the contents of your website and includes any disclaimers to the contents of your site.

There are several FREE google fonts/typefaces that look incredible; however, many website users want a specialized typeface(s) (fonts). Utilizing a typeface that is not a free font requires a web license for use on a website. Having this license simply gives you legal permission to use. The cost of the typeface is entirely determined on the artist's pricing and then on the monthly traffic on your website. All costs will be disclosed and no purchases will be made unless expressly agreed upon. This is an extra fee as it is an extra feature outside of the standard.

Of note: This is a one time fee that you would only require to update if you have more traffic on your site than previously expected.

I do offer payment plans!

This is an investment for your business and some investments require a payment plan. I customize each payment plan per client and their needs. This is something we can negotiate.

Of note: All websites must be paid in full prior to starting of the project/launch day. This is a great option as it locks you into a price point and will not be raised from our agreement.
